Food Security
Food Security: Food security is a concept that encompasses the availability, access, utilization, and stability of food resources for populations around the world. Defined by the United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), food security exists when all people, at all times, have physical, social, and economic access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food that meets their dietary needs and food preferences for an active and healthy life. Despite significant progress in global food production and distribution, food security remains an ongoing challenge for millions of people worldwide, and understanding its complexity is essential for developing solutions that can address hunger, malnutrition, and food inequality.
